  I think he should've realized St-Pierre was going to take him down if he rushed in with strikes. So, instead of changing that game plan of rushing Rush, he should've used it to his advantage and charged in with strikes. But the difference would be on the third strike STOP the foward progress to set your weight and throw the knee because you KNOW he's going to take you down from rushing him with strikes! Should've been more creative and not try to find the KO and let the KO come to him.

  i think that alves should have thrown those leg kicks like a mad men in the first 3 rounds so what he would get takedown he was getting back up quite easy though sometimes

  alves should have moved to mid weight earlier in his carrer for this not to have happened. he cuts alot of weight and imo he'd do better in that class. gps is far too good for anyone who cuts that much weight to beat him. alves actually did good, despite that fact, exactly what i expected from him thought hes tough. ima' call gsp 'the vet", he just neutored the pitbull! lol
