if GSP gets knocked out..

can't believe i'm saying this.. (just sharing my excitement and anticipation when gsp fights)

the last time i feel too confident GSP could whitewash an opponent was when he fought serra the first time.. i was dumbfounded after the match, it was a disaster.. that fight made me doubt GSP's chin and his fragility.. the koscheck fight was too much for me to handle that i began praying he'd win.. i knew koscheck's got heavy hands and the scenario of him landing a one punch knockout kept bothering me.. luckily, he controlled the whole fight and won..even showed his supremacy in taking fighters down at will.. same doubt haunted me before the trilogy with hughes, and his defense of the belt against fitch and penn.. but right after he crushed bj, i knew nobody can beat this guy.. alves was on my mind, i knew he was a threat but damn, i hope that's all he can and will be, A THREAT.. if GSP gets knocked out (can't eradicate this possibility), he won't lose everything.. definitely, he still belongs to the top 5 and will have no problem battling it out once again with fitch.. or with the up and coming stars like swick or the rumble.. GSP is a smart fighter, so are his trainers, it won't be long before he gets his title back.. man, i do hope it doesn't reach this point.. can't say i'm confident right now.. i know alves is as great a threat as machida (when he challenged evans for the title)..can't be too confident.. this fight will answer a lot of questions and even eliminates doubts.. couldn't wait to see how this fight unfolds..

(just something to think about) if GSP gets knocked out, who's next in line commendable to fight for the title(against alves)? Who would GSP most likely face after his defeat?

    There is always a chance GSP could get KOed when fighting a heavy hitter like Alves. However, I do not think it will happen. GSP will not stand up for very long in this fight. He will keep Alves on the ground for most of the fight. When GSP does stand up he will say out of range so he can catch his breath. I think GPS will submit Alves in the 5th round.

    I think this a good match up. Alves is a pit bull and GSP comes up with the crazy game plans.He uses his game plan as much as his skills like no other.I also think anyone with the right shot to the head will be hurt.It might be off the wall but I really like Mike Swick.He has only lost 2 out of 13 fights with most of them KO's. Chris Leben won by Knock Out ,Yushin Okami won by Unanimous Decision .Mike is on fire he started Tae-Kwon-Do at the age of 8 and never looked back.Well that's my opinion Rad Blog man keep them coming.

    i see the few minutes of this fight spent standing up as both fighters measure each other. once gsp snacks on a couple from alves, he'll go for a take down. and the fight we prepared ourselves for ensues...

    I WANNA SEE A FLYING KNEE!!! ! ! ! ! ! !

    GSP will not do a lot of stand up with Alves, he will keep Alves on the ground. If GSP does too much stand up he sure could get KO'd. But I don't think GSP will let that happen. I think GSP will win a UD.
