I would like to see the UFC cut back on events.

November 3, 2009

There should be no more then two events a month. At least two weeks apart. One pay-per-view and one free on television. This is how I would like the breakdown to be: 12 pay-per-view(once a month), two TUF finales, 4 network events(pay-per-view quality 3 months apart), and 6 fight nights. I believe this schedule gives the fans what they want and each event could be packed better with talent instead of spreading thin because of too many events.

MMAhead86 is right..., 24 events does not mean 24 PPV events, it's more than likely the UFC will sign a deal with ABC later this year or early next and start having PPV type events on broadcast tv, I'm willing to bet once the numbers roll in for Fedor Rogers on CBS, the UFC will sign the deal with a major network ASAP and get the ball rolling, I think we will soon start seeing more and more free events, quite possibly half of the events each year could turn into free events, and with bigger numbers on free events you may eventually see them out number the PPV's. The UFC may very well save the PPV's just for the big title fights...

That wouldn't be cutting back on events! It is very rare that we see two events a month

i dont know what a network event is? do they have those? anyway, more ufc is always good and it could be a card with a bunch of guys i never heard of and i'd watch and be entertained. They should however, lower the ppv price to like $30.

Maybe we all should try noticing the other fighters as talent instead of just the bigger names. This company has enough fighters to do this.

That's a very strong demand (24) events a year. (not just yet) You just can't get enough can ya.haha,me either .. Grimm makes a good argument though but Just wait, as time progresses more events will come, remember the Network deal is around the corner!!!
