THANKS for the 411. The interview was great and Mir never disappoints when answering questions. Although I am not a Mir fan, I really like his attitude and philosophy of fighting anyone who is willing to step into the octagon. It would have been nice if you had pasted the article and provided your own synopsis/analysis of the interview. Facts that can read straight from the blog and your own opinion could make the blog really interesting. Check out my best P4P blog to see what I am referring to. Since you are a Silva fan leave your comments too because I'd like to hear your justification.
In his fight with Nog, Mir's punches are too slow. Andy would rip him apart unless Mir tries to punch & goes for the takedown and show Andy what its like to be subbed again. Other than that I dont see Mir's chances of winning.
i think mir would put up a good fight, he could beat him.
Poor Mir I don't think he can win this fight Mir does not know how to use his size to his advantage he is not Brock or Carwin. I think Anderson would beat Mir in the 2nd or 3rd by TKO. Because Anderson is a black belt under the Nog brothers and even know I think Mir is a monster on the ground IDK if he can submit Silva.
Anderson Silva is the best POUND FOR POUND fighter in the world. Asking a middle weight to put on 60 pounds and retain their speed and coordination is a bit much isn't it? Anderson's skills are unquestionably better than Brock's skills. He just wouldn't be able to compete with Brock's athleticism. He's simply not big enough to fight someone entering the ring at 285. Mir is the better choice, but its a really big step to go from middle weight to heavy-weight. I might have to bet on Mir... even though he's a ****** bag
