Shogun is probably a tad bit embarrassed after losing to Forrest Griffin by choke in his UFC debut. At the time, he was thought to be the best fighter in any weight class in the world. Mark Coleman is a legend and changed the face of the sport, but at his age with his inactivity, has not a snowball's chance. If only soccer kicks were legal in the UFC.... I'd predict Shogun in 30 seconds. But I forecast Shogun by TKO at 1:45 of round 1.
I really hope shogun wins this one,for two resons.1# there are alot of interesting and exiting matchups for him in 09: liddell,rampage rematch,griffen rematch,machida ect. and how good would shogun vs thiago silva be!!!!!! two aggressive as **** fighters coming at each other like the ******* hammers. 2#coleman is 45 and wouldnt have that much fights left in him,im not counting him out its just shogun would have a longer and brighter career ahead of him.plus i think hes a much more exiting fighter,coleman is wrestling n ground n pound,nothing against it,im just sick of it,its not as exiting it died with tito ortiz...
coleman is no longer on roids and fighting at heavyweight. He will be about 220 on fight day unlike the 240 or so he was when they last fought. He hasn't fought since 2006 and Shogun is reportedly back on form so I think this one will be a 30-40 second drubbing probably Shogun stuffing a takedown followed by some muay thai knees to the chin. This is Coleman's last fight.
