4 questions 4 Tito and 4-est

November 3, 2009

The UFC's "Poster Boy" VS The UFC's "Bad Boy"

I have 2 questions about Forrest Griffen-

1) Was him beating Sho-Gun and Rampage a FLUKE?

2) Or were his last two brutal KO losses just a FLUKE?

My 2 questions for Tito would be-

1) Does he trully wanna be champion again? or does he just wanna be Famous?

2) Is he 100% healthy? He had back surgury and knee problems have plagued him in the past (or so he say's).

At UFC 106, I think i will have answers to all 4 of these questions. I would of liked two see this re-match happen 2 years ago right after the first fight but it should be a great rematch none the less. I think it will be a long brutal fight. I really hope to see the "Tito of old" and I also hope that Forrest is back to the funny good guy that everybody loves to root for.

Its hard to pick against Forrest but I think Tito wins by TKO late.

I wouldn't call his win/losses a fluke. They train, they fight, and someone has to win or lose.

His win over Rua probably had a lot to do with Ruas performance....or lack there of. His win over Jackson was probably legit. He had a great gameplan and followed through.

His loss to Rashad was legit as well, he wasn't doing all that bad up. His loss to A.Silva was definitely justifiable.....its Anderson Silva. He probably lost that fight way before he even stepped into the octagon.

    Good questions/blog BTW.

good blog kodiak, and you've kinda stumped me. I'm not sure about the forrest question but if i had to pick one i'd say him getting the best of shogun and rampage was a fluke. As for Tito it'll be interesting to see how hungry he is, sh*t changes as far as motivation goes for guys like him that have succeeded outside of the fighting circle.

yea those questions will definetly get answered at 106..but nah no flukes for Forrest either way and i can't call it about Tito but I hope he comes and looks like the "bad boy" back in the day... it mite be an emotional fight meaning balls to the wall both tryin to prove themselves like its all or nothing. its hard for me to pick too so im just gonna say if Tito is goin in determined to win he is gonna have to be better than ever cuz Forrest has evolved..winner gets Coleman or...Jardine? Kimbo maybe? Thiago Silva!!!

If Tito wins Forrest is done. 3 straight losses. If Forrest doesnt mean anything cos Tito isnt up too par anymore....

You mean your five questions, right? I don't know, I kinda like the timing for this rematch. I don't think Griffin's wins or losses were flukes, but he had the peak of his career, however short it was, and a horrible fall from championship grace. It'll be interesting to see how, or if, he can bring himself back. Ortiz, well, I don't know. I'm not gonna say I'm an Ortiz fan, because he irks the freakin' hell outta me. Blames everything negative on something else. So I'd like to see if he's really changed and revamped himself. I don't think this fight will be anything like the first other than the outcome: "W" for Ortiz.
